About

Who we are

A NextGen, faith-based not-for-profit organization in Western New York, combining faith, testimony, partnership and technology to serve our neighbors.

Our story

Built on a simple belief

Every person and family carries a story of hope worth telling, and communities grow stronger when those stories are shared, supported and multiplied.

TCNi focuses on Christian community building, outreach, community education support and wellness promotion, through programs that connect with one another rather than standing alone.

Families creating art and music together at a community gathering.
Mission

To connect Christian faith-driven individuals and their communities, including individuals in need, educators, learners, parents, and educational, spiritual and social-venture-aligned organizations, to foster collaboration, celebrate achievements and strengthen communities through testimonies, innovation and shared values.

Vision

Flourishing Western New York communities where every person and family can testify of hope, purpose and practical progress.

Our values

Faith and Testimony

Christian values and the power of shared stories. Taking part in faith activities is always voluntary.

Dignity and Belonging

People are partners, never problems. Everyone is welcome.

Collaboration

Churches, schools, agencies, businesses and volunteers working together.

Innovation

Technology, the creative arts and small pilots that reach people in new ways.

Stewardship and Integrity

Careful use of resources and transparent reporting.

Safety and Confidentiality

Safeguarding for children and youth, and private, consent-based handling of information.

What makes us different

A network, not a set of events

  • Testimony as a method. Stories of progress inspire, teach and attract partners.
  • One connected network. Programs refer to each other, so one relationship opens many doors.
  • Technology from day one. TCNi Connect gives a small organization big reach.
  • Creative and cultural expression. Music, writing, design, and African art and culture.
  • Small, careful pilots. We start small, learn, and grow what works.
  • Prevention before crisis. Early support for families and youth.
